At the foot of the Pyrenees lies Flower Camping Les Mijeannes, a lively family campsite. You camp here on a small island in the river Ariège. There you can splash, fish and canoe. For children and adults, the campsite organizes … social dancing and karaoke evenings. You can also enjoy your privacy on the large, secluded tour pitches. Foix is close to the campsite. This ancient town with its castle and caves is a nice destination for a day trip. The campsite is located on the outskirts of Rieux-de-Pelleport, a small village about 13 km north of the town of Foix. You drive over a small bridge to the campground, with the Pyrenees in the background. The area is spacious and the reception is located in a large building. Large pitches with privacy The almost one hundred particularly large pitches are all marked out. In addition to the tourist pitches, you can also opt for various rental accommodations, including eco-mobile homes and lodge tents. In high season, the campsite is visited by many families with young children. Dance evenings, karaoke, children's disco: there is enough organized at the campsite for young and old. In the wooded surroundings you can enjoy wonderful cycling. Camping Les Mijeannes is also the right place for you if you prefer it quiet. Island in the Ariège From the campsite you can immediately get to the river. The children can play well in the shallow water here. The river is also a little paradise for anglers. At the campsite you can also swim in the heated swimming pool.
