Surrounded by the peace and tranquility of the Obla gorica forest, the Radovljica campground is located in the Gorenjska town of Radovljica conveniently close to stores, banks, post office, and train and bus stations. In the summer heat, guests can … refresh themselves in the new 50-meter Olympic swimming pool and the new heated children's pool, play beach volleyball, and visit the fitness center, snack bar, and pizzeria. In 2001, the swimming pool was named the best-run swimming pool in Slovenia for the fifth straight year. The area around the Radovljica campground offers many opportunities for hiking, mountain trekking, and bicycling as well as rafting on the Sava Bohinjka and Sava Dolinka rivers. Nearby are tennis courts, areas for football, basketball, handball, and boules, and a new children's playground. Radovljica itself offers a fascinating Apiculture Museum, an art gallery in the medieval Šivec House, a forest education trail, and a Festival of Early Music every August.
