PASETTA The manager of "Camping La Genziana", poet e descendant … from a family of shepherds, nephew of the last wolves - hunter of his region, lived in New York for several years and finally went back to his fatherland : Barrea. His passion for mountains, which made him associated of the Italian Alpine Club, his own experience of life, reliable evidence of time change, convicted him that the fundamentals of human beings life are : peace, silence, stillness. He took part of the European longest trekking: "Camminaitalia" both in 1995 and in 1999, being named as : "poet laureate" A guide book wrote by the owner Pasetta, a fifty years mountain experienced man, will be available to the camperers. The book is giving complete information on the local mountains and a guide-line for a good vacation in the National Park of Abruzzi and all Abruzzi. LA GENZIANA "Camping La Genziana" is published on the most important holiday resort magazine and guides, both national and international, being well valued and well considered for being very professional and serious camping-site Camping “La Genziana”, 20.000 sqm wide, 110 pitches available for welcoming people, lies on a terraced land, facing the lake of Barrea, in the National Park of Abruzzi, where swimming, wind- surfing and rowing are permitted. In the camping-site you can find a reception, a bar, a small market, ad a common room. In the town of Barrea, is a 300 mt. walking distance. Bathrooms, hot and cold showers, washing- clothes and ironing room are available. A camper- service” weapon satisfies every different need of discharging ad changing water of auto- caravan. A wide room where camperers can cook and sleep in case of raining is situated in the camping- site. Every day you may walk or bike on a different track, of which we can give complete information.
